Washington State Parks and the National Forest Service are waiving access fees this Veteran's Day weekend. So now's a chance to pack a picnic lunch, visit the great outdoors and view the fall colors!

The Washington Discover Pass will not be required to visit any state park on November 10-12. Also, fees are waived during this time period for visits to National Forests.

However, a Discover Pass will still be required on these days to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. It also appears that a pass will still be required to access areas managed by the BLM (Note: we have a lot of areas in this region that are managed by the BLM).
